Breakfast had a nice variety with friendly staff serving. The parking situation was a hassle, very limited spots available.

The staff were really friendly and the breakfast had a good variety. The parking situation was tight and challenging, making it hard to maneuver. Rooms were clean but could use some updating.

The Comfort Inn Downtown Charleston is ideally located near the medical center, making it perfect for hospital visits. The valet staff were exceptional, offering great assistance. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, though some areas could use improvement. A solid choice overall!

Great breakfast with a lot of tasty options. Rooms are comfy and well-supplied for a cozy stay.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but worth it for the experience.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had ample storage space. Breakfast offered a nice variety, and the young lady assisting was exceptional. the lack of information from the front desk staff was concerning; we found local insights much more from a bank security guard nearby. Despite my request for a King Suite, our assigned room was unavailable, with no apology offered. The air conditioning in the dining area was also broken, making breakfast uncomfortable. Noise from nearby amenities disrupted our peace. Mandatory valet was inconvenient, especially given the issues with our door handle. While I appreciate the hotel's potential, major improvements are needed in communication and room maintenance.

The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise with waffles, eggs, and fresh fruit! I loved my cozy room with a view of the pool. The rooftop pool and sun terrace were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring!

Strongly recommend! ❤️😊

The noise was unbearable—screaming kids, the ice machine going off non-stop, and the elevator right outside our door. It completely ruined what should've been a relaxing weekend getaway. Totally disappointing!

The presence of a washer and dryer on our floor was a big plus, and the complimentary valet parking made it convenient for us to come and go as we pleased. the hotel's location near a supermarket and on a free bus route made exploring the area easy.

We encountered some issues with room cleanliness and maintenance, such as graffiti on the bathroom door and unkempt rooms. The breakfast offered was overly sugary, lacking healthier options.

The staff shone brightly, super friendly and doing their best despite obvious shortages. Breakfast was impressive, though they often ran out of items—one lady stood out as exceptionally kind. Our room had a comfortable bed and clean sheets, but it was let down by age and maintenance issues, like a leaky faucet and worn-out furniture. A big plus was the quick ride into the city and the nearby Publix. unexpected charges and a lack of housekeeping truly took away from the overall experience. There’s potential here, but it feels like it’s been sidelined.

This hotel is a stone's throw away from local eateries and shopping options, with many charming spots to explore just a leisurely walk away – from the historic Charleston City Market that's almost 2 km away to the beautiful Brittlebank Park, only about 800 meters away. It’s also conveniently close to several hospitals and the College of Charleston, making it a great fit for anyone visiting the area. The spacious breakfast area offered a delicious variety and a friendly team so we started each day on a positive note. However, the hotel could definitely benefit from addressing some maintenance issues for an all-around better experience.

The room was spacious, allowing for comfortable movement without tripping over luggage. it featured a worn-out mattress that lacked support. Temperature control was adequate, but noise levels fluctuated with sounds from adjacent rooms. The bathroom was also roomy, but the tub showed signs of peeling and was slippery. I encountered a dirty hairdryer and some makeup stains on the comforter. Despite the room's potential, cleanliness fell short. The staff was generally helpful, but we faced issues with housekeeping and some maintenance concerns that detracted from the overall experience.

Convenient location 5 minutes from downtown. Clean and quiet rooms with friendly staff. Good breakfast with many choices and 24/7 coffee. Comfortable bed with a choice of pillow types. Valet parking available with exceptional service. Close to King St, attractions, beach, and marina.

Felt like visiting family, no complaints at all.

The air conditioning worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. We also appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room, allowing us to enjoy a hot beverage whenever we wanted. One thing that stood out to us was the lack of a sitting area in the room. It would have been nice to have a cozy spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. the absence of an AM/FM alarm clock was a bit surprising, as it's a common amenity in most hotels. Housekeeping at the Comfort Inn could use some improvement. Despite staying for multiple nights, our room was not thoroughly cleaned during our stay. The bathroom grout could also benefit from a deep clean to ensure a more hygienic environment. the lack of a grocery shopping service on-site was a bit inconvenient. We had to venture out to find detergent for laundry, which proved to be a hassle late at night. Having this service available would have made our stay more convenient. Lastly, the valet parking service had some issues during our stay. It took quite some time to locate our car, and there was a mix-up with the tagging of vehicles. The handling of the situation by the hotel staff left much to be desired, as there was a lack of communication and resolution regarding the valet parking mishap. Despite these areas needing improvement, the Comfort Inn did have its positives. The clean sheets and comfortable bed provided a good night's sleep, and the ironing facilities and air conditioning added convenience to our stay. while there were some drawbacks, there were also some aspects of the hotel that were satisfactory.

Start your day off right with a free hot breakfast, then relax knowing I'm still close to Magnolia Gardens and the beach. I loved exploring King Street!

Nothing like a flooded bathroom floor and a tiny shower curtain to make you appreciate a hotel stay.

The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the highway and the tourist area of Charleston. The free bus right outside the hotel made it easy to explore the city. The staff, especially Whitney at the front desk, were incredibly helpful and always had a smile on their face. They made our stay enjoyable and provided excellent customer service.

The lack of water upon arrival and the inconvenience of having to change rooms due to a flooded toilet. However, the staff managed the situation well and resolved the issue promptly.

comfort inn was wonderful. we came to town for bridge race and the hotel staff was wearing bridge run t-shirt’s, has fruit coffee and water ready for us at 5:30am. they had organized a shuttle bus from hotel to site for $15 per person which was so helpful bc we were so far from busses to start. the room was excellent for a budget stay, very quiet with minimal road noise despite being on busy routes into the city. very clean and a comfortable bed. a short walk into the historical district, very close to downtown for bars and restaurants. the room was quite pleasant compared to the outside. very spacious. breakfast was great with amazing variety. the lady at the desk on our first two nights was very friendly and helpful. good choices for breakfast. room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Absolutely nothing! 😊

I chose Comfort Inn Downtown Charleston to visit Aiken-Rhett House. The concierge service pleasantly surprised me, and I loved the free hot breakfast.

Some front desk employees unwelcoming. Elevator needs improvement.
